4-channel Video Server for Remote Surveillance
via TCP/IP Networks
Overview |
| |
MOXA VPort 2140 Video Server, equipped with
4-ch video input and 4-ch video output, image
digitizer, image compressor with MJPEG compression,
and web server with 10/100 Mbps Ethernet/ Modem
dial-in interface, can digitize analog video
sources and distribute digital images over a
computer network, turning your CCTV system into
a "Video over IP" Network System INSTANTLY.
|
|
Benefits |
| |
- Access
Anywhere & Anytime
Users can remotely access any video camera
connected with VPort 2140 Video Server
from anywhere and anytime via Ethernet
or Internet to get the benefit of central
management. VPort 2140 Video Server supports
10/100 Mbps Ethernet and Modem dial-in
connection network interfaces for different
application requirements.
- Save on Manpower and
Cost of Wiring
There's no need to construct a coaxial
cable network to transmit video images.
Simply use an existing IP network, and
save on effort and the cost of system
installation and wiring.
- Integrated Network
System Structure
In contrast to CCTV systems, system integrators
can use VPort 2140 Video Server to integrate
various functions, such as camera management,
video storage, video recording and playback,
VMD (Video Motion Detection), video interaction
with DI/ DO devices, etc., over an IP-based
network. System integrators and administrators
in system maintenance and expansion will
be extremely impressed by the convenience
of this system.
- Built-in Web Server
for video management and control
MOXA VPort 2140 has a built-in Web Server
that allows users to fully manage and
control camera and video images. In addition
to viewing and camera/video settings,
some advanced functions, such as VMD (Video
Motion Detection), PTZ camera control,
and sequential viewing, are also provided
by VPort 2140. In addition, snapshot images
taken by either VMD or sequential mode
can be obtained by email or FTP to inform
users of the status of events.
- Automatic Video Surveillance
System via interacting with I/O sensors and
alarms
MOXA VPort 2140 Video Server comes equipped
4 Digital Input and 2 Relay Output to
connect with sensors and alarms. By using
system software (such as MOXA SoftDVR™
Pro IP Surveillance Software) or Script
Command programming, users can construct
an automatic video surveillance system
by setting the interaction between cameras
and DI/ DO devices.
